Dawn Renovation is a small family business built around the work my father and I do together. He brings over 25 years of remodeling experience, and I’ve learned the trade alongside him. We share a straightforward approach: take the time to do things properly, including the details you won’t see once the bathroom is finished.
We stay hands-on throughout the renovation, taking responsibility for the work while respecting your home and daily routine. Keeping the work area orderly, protecting surrounding spaces, and answering questions along the way are all part of the job.

A bathroom remodel is a big investment, and understanding the process should be just as important as the finished result. From the initial design to the final walkthrough, every step is clearly explained so you know what to expect along the way. DESIGN/LAYOUT
Everyone's favorite step in a bathroom remodel, the design and layout portion plans the bathroom’s arrangement, fixtures, materials, colors, and details to create a functional, cohesive space that reflects your vision and brings your ideas to life.

DRYWALL/BACKER BOARD
The walls and ceiling are prepared with new drywall and brought to a Level 4 Finish. Backer board is installed in wet areas. Each surface is properly installed and secured, providing a solid foundation for waterproofing and tile installation.

PAINTING/TRIM
The walls, ceiling, and trim have smooth, even paint coverage, and the trim is installed with clean, precise lines. These finished surfaces create a polished, cohesive appearance that completes the bathroom.

DEMOLITION
The existing bathroom is dismantled, including fixtures, tile, flooring, and other materials. We use protective equipment, control dust, handle tools and debris safely, protect adjacent areas, and remove debris to maintain a clean, orderly worksite.

WATERPROOFING
The shower and other wet areas are thoroughly waterproofed—the most important step to protect your home and help prevent moisture from reaching the structure behind the walls. All seams, corners, and penetrations are properly sealed to create a reliable foundation for the tile installation.

FIXTURES/ACCESSORIES INSTALLATION
The final fixtures and accessories are installed, including the vanity, toilet, faucets, lighting, mirrors, and other finishing details. Each item is carefully fitted and adjusted to ensure proper functionality and complete the bathroom’s finished look.

FRAMING/ROUGH IN PLUMBING/ELECTRICAL
The space is prepared for the new bathroom with any necessary framing adjustments, followed by rough-in plumbing and electrical work. This stage ensures everything is properly positioned and ready for the next phase of the renovation.

TILE INSTALLATION
The tile is installed according to the finalized design, with precise cuts, consistent spacing, and clean lines throughout the space. Careful alignment and attention to detail ensure a polished, professional finish that enhances the overall appearance and durability of the installation.

FINAL WALKTHROUGH
The completed bathroom is thoroughly inspected to ensure all details and finishes meet expectations. Final adjustments are made as needed, and the clients’ satisfaction is confirmed during the walkthrough so they feel confident in the finished result.
